Ideally located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in the heart of Béarn and not far from the Basque Country, come and enjoy a quiet stay in a real green haven of peace!

Campsite, on the river bank and quiet, is a stone’s throw from the many shops in Navarrenx (pharmacies, butchers, supermarkets). Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature while taking advantage of the amenities offered by this pretty medieval village.

THE swimming pool

In Béarn, come and relax in this beautiful 15m x 8m pool open daily from 9am to 9pm !

The swimming pool at our campsite, facing south, benefits from an optimal amount of sunshine throughout the day.

For sunbathing, reading or relaxing sunbeds and parasols are available by the pool.

No slides, diving boards or water parks, the Beau Rivage swimming pool is a haven of peace, perfect for relaxing in complete tranquillity.

The aquatic area is enclosed to ensure maximum safety for your little ones. Buoys and goggles are available, don’t hesitate to ask us at the reception!

If you are missing sun cream, don’t panic! There is a mini-market 5 minutes walk from our campsite!

Swimming shorts are allowed in the pool!

Fishing in Bearn

The Béarn region is full of different fishing grounds : lakes, gaves, streams, rivers. There is also something for everyone when it comes to fishing: fly fishing, spearfishing or even predatory fishing….

The river below the campsite, the Gave d’Oloron, will seduce you! You can fish for salmon, sea trout, shad, eel, sea lamprey and many other fish!

At the campsite, we do not offer mobile homes for rent.
Concerned about our environment, we prefer to highlight the mountainous landscape of our beautiful region of Bearn through cottage rentals and lodge tents for a change of scenery at affordable prices.

We offer you 5 different types of chalets as well as des tentes lodges for holidays at the best prices in Béarn, at the foot of the Pyrenees.

Tent Lodges

The Beau Rivage campsite in Navarrenx, located near Pau, welcomes you to its lodge tents. Between camping and chalet, this atypical accommodation is perfect for a family get-together in close proximity to nature while maintaining comfort. Our lodge tents for rent are consisting of two chambers. The lodge tents may or may not have sanitary facilities, allowing everyone to find holiday accommodation to suit their comfort and budget.

Campsite Beau Rivage is composed of 25 rental pitches Grand Confort (110 to 140 m²) with water, electricity and sanitation connections, 29 comfort pitches (110 to 140 m²) with electric hook-up.

The Grand Confort pitches are half grass and half gravel and the Confort pitches are grass.

The campsite benefits from a ideal location to discover the village of Salies-de-Béarn or Oloron-Sainte-Marie.

Security

You are looking for a covered and secure parking for your caravan, motorhome or van?

We offer you a daycare service caravans, motorhomes or vans in a secure, enclosed building, 2 steps from the campsite, near Pau, in the heart of Béarn and near the Pyrenees.

The service includes the transfer of the caravan to your pitch for your arrival (with the possibility of a cold beer in the fridge). The caravan will be levelled and connected.

At the end of your stay, your caravan will be safely towed to our hangar.

The surrounding area

A stone’s throw from Biarritz and the Basque Country, neighbouring Spain, the Béarn Pyrenees combines countryside, plains and mountain valleys. Discover the Pyrenees, visiting the villages of the Aspe and Barétous valleys from the campsite. Visit the beaches of the Basque coast and visit its small typical villages. And don’t forget Spain, one hour from the campsite! Take advantage of our numerous rental offers, to book your stay close to nature.

Navarrenx is located to about 30 kilometres from Pau and about twenty kilometres from Oloron-Sainte-Marie. You will be dazzled by this village steeped in history and elected “Most Beautiful Village in France”. Indeed, Navarrenx has the particularity of being the first bastioned city in France, in addition to being an essential stage on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

Within walking distance of the campsite, you can visit the ramparts, vous walk between the fortifications and enjoy the numerous shops and amenities in the village.

Pau, Capital of Bearn in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques

Don’t miss Pau, about 30 km from the campsite. Strolling along the Boulevard des Pyrénées, you can admire the countryside and enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains. Don’t hesitate to visit the castle of Pau, birthplace of Henri IV, King of France and Navarre.

Pau is the capital of Bearn, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and is ideally located 45 minutes from the Pyrenees and close to the Basque Coast (1 hour from Bayonne and Biarritz).

The campsite is located in the Béarn, which is a former French province. Il fait aujourd’hui partie du département des Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

Come and discover our beautiful region of Béarn with its marked identity just like its neighbour the Basque Country. Know that here the roots and traditions are as strong as the climate is mild.
