It also has a priceless heritage treasure: <strong>the Passerelle d&#8217;Holzart\u00e9<\/strong>. <a href=\"\/en\/\">Camping Beau Rivage<\/a> is the ideal place to visit. It was <strong>built in 1920<\/strong>. Renovated in 2010, <strong>it spans the 67 metres of the Olhadubi canyon<\/strong>. For tourists and hikers, it is a thrilling crossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">In fact, the footbridge was very useful at the time. Before 1920, lumberjacks and other specialists in the wood industry had to cross the area <strong>bypassing the gorge<\/strong>. This meant that they had to cross from one bank to the other in order to transport the logs from the felled trees, which was a laborious task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">It was then that <strong>two Italian engineers<\/strong>, <strong>Lombardi and Morello<\/strong>, had the idea, in 1920, <strong>to build the famous Holzarte Bridge<\/strong>. It was a real challenge given the geological situation of the site. The two experts resorted to an ingenious technique <strong>using steel cables to support the connection between the two banks<\/strong>. Everything was done to ensure the safety of passers-by. This is how the inevitable bridge came into being to simplify the work of wood professionals. Today, it has become a magnificent tourist attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"ls-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-deroulement-de-la-randonnee-a-la-passerelle-d-holzarte\">The course of the walk to the Holzart\u00e9 footbridge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">It is by hiking that one must discover the splendour of the site. It is <strong>a loop of about 12 kilometres<\/strong>. In addition to discovering the Holzart\u00e9 footbridge, hikers will enjoy the magnificent green setting that surrounds it. The 12.2 km long walk takes about <strong>5 hours to complete<\/strong>. You will be accompanied step by step by the guides on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">The hike starts from <strong>the Logibar hostel on the D26<\/strong>. In fact, <strong>this is the only way to get to the Passerelle d&#8217;Holzart\u00e9<\/strong>. Also, if you have a car, you can park it in the car park. Once you have done this, follow the signs to the site. How far is the campsite? What to do next door?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">The Holzart\u00e9 Bridge can only be reached <strong>on foot<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a <strong>2 hour walk<\/strong> to the bridge and back. On the other hand, the location of t<strong>he Beau Rivage campsite makes it an excellent stopover on the way to your destination<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a 53 kilometre drive from the campsite to the campsite, which takes <strong>about an hour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ls-paragraph\">As far as activities are concerned, you are spoilt for choice.
